North-Side Kitchen Rehab
The owners of this old house wanted to remodel their kitchen and asked us if we could remove the load bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room.
Of course, our answer was yes!
We moved the the kitchen cabinets and sink to the other side of the building, relocated the powder room, installed new hardwood flooring throughout, and built a fireplace.
Here’s the finished kitchen. Note the double stacked “castled” cabinets.
The island differs in wood species and color from the rest of the kitchen, along with a different granite top.
Check out the custom enclosure we built for the microwave (on top of the fireplace) and the tile back splash behind the stove.
